The Harlem Renaissance is a cultural movement that is known as "The Negro Movement" in Harlem New York. This movement is very interesting really, I like the paintings that they make, it tells a story. This painting is called " this way home" it was painted by Archibald J. Motlley, he studied in France for a year and he is
incredibly interested in skin tone, and did numerous portraits documenting women of varying blood quantities. His paintings are very lovely, I like it very much.
