June 13, 1923 Stock Market Crash

The stock market crashing is the most devastating thing that had ever happened in the United States. It was the beginning of The Great Depression. Many people blamed  investors for taking high risks approaches to the stock market. On Black Tuesday 16.4 million shares exchanged hands in business. Some business fell behind on about 3 hours. And as the days goes on the market fell another 12%. It will take WW1 to bring us out of this depression.

  1. I remember when that happened, it was very awful when we went into the depression. I don't want to go through that again.
