June 7, 1923 Spirit of St. Louis

Charles Lindbergh is the first person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, from New York to Paris with nothing but food and water. Come on who will survive that, he did a very good job. The name of his plane was Spirit of St. Louis, such a wonderful name for a strong airplane. I remember it as if it was yesterday, the day he took off and the day he returned. It was such a glorious day when he returned, Nick and I was sitting beside each other when they announced that he have returned, Nick let out a joyous cry and kissed me. I liked every much when he did that I want him to do it more often.
